Former Habs Player Gets Traded

March 22, 2013 |

The former Canadiens player is not worth much. However, he had a season no worse in 2010-2011 with a harvest of 46 points. In any case, the trade deadline, expect this kind of transaction. There will be nothing spectacular.

The 25-year-old Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., native has appeared in just 16 games this season, with a goal and an assist.

D’Agostini was originally selected by Montreal in the sixth round of the 2005 draft and has compiled 45 goals and 46 assists in 254 NHL regular season games with the Blues and Canadiens, to go along with 115 penalty minutes.

New Jersey also gets a seventh round pick in the 2015 draft, with St. Louis earning a fourth- or -fifth-round choice in the same year’s draft.

I blog about our Montreal Canadiens daily. Born and raised in Parc Extension, grew up watching the Habs on tv. Played street hockey with friends, pretending to be a Habs player. Now my passion with the Habs has grown into this website since I bought it back in 2010
