Prust Injured , Out For At Least Ten Days

Brandon Prust suffered a sprained left shoulder (first degree) and he will be out for ten days.

The 28 year old must put an end to his streak of 223 regular season games that existed from 15 January 2010.

“It sure is a good leader in our training and it plays an important role. But we still continued to get success with losses (Raphael) Diaz (Rene) Bourque. We have not changed our team concept and thus must continue, “said Therrien about this loss.

Halfway through the third period against the Lightning on Saturday night, Prust was wounded in the left shoulder hitting the tape when he wanted to prevent icing and it did not return to the game later.

After the game, he was seen in the left shoulder splint.

Considered a pillar of the team this season, he may miss the next three or four parts of his own. Beyond the duel against the Panthers Sunday, facing Canadian Senators Wednesday, Saturday and Devils Sabres Tuesday, March 19.

Moreover, Yannick Weber injured his right knee and will be sidelined for a period of two weeks.

The defender was injured in Thursday’s game against the Hurricanes.
